Statistics |
In 1996 the Exiles were led into their 5th season by two new coaches Andy Whalley and Stuart Croucher, who had been impressed with the teams spirit and determination on game days the previous year. With the new coaches on board the team started to recruit more players, including some good sized linemen, and we ended the year with a 5-5 record, our first season without a losing record, and something to build upon.
From our division both the Devils and Cardinals qualified for the playoffs, and promptly lost in the first round, both us and the Sabres were eliminated due to splitting the games between us, if either of us had finished at 6 and 4 we would have qualified as the wild card!
