The Exiles senior team continued their poor season with a 45-13 defeat at the hands of division leaders Cambridge Cats.

The Exiles travelled with a depleted squad thanks to a few injuries picked up in previous games, but those that did travel played with heart and pride for the team.

The Exiles scores came courtesy of Brad Madison's first for the club, on a reception from Quarterback Zac Ritchie, after the Exiles put together a 90 yard drive in 13 plays.

Then Wesley Eversley scampered in for the second score, after another nice drive, again showing what the Exiles can do when they cut out the mistakes.

The Exiles season now hinges on their next 5 games, can they cut out the mistakes and save themselves from relegation, or will they be doomed to division 2 football for the first time since 2005? The 11th July sees the teams next action, at home vs the Peterborough Saxons, and their first chance to reverse their current form.
