The Exiles Junior team carried on their improvement with their first victory of the year in great style, defeating the visiting Renegades 54-6.

The game started well as Yani Ourabah found Todd Herbert from 4 yards out for the opening touchdown. However on the next drive Ourabah found Berkshires Dan Barber with an interception which he returned for the touchdown to tie the game.

Danny Whitfield scored next though on a 15 yard catch, and despite a few more offensive mistakes the Exiles scored once more before the half, on a 24 yard run from Sean O'Brien.

The second half saw the young Exiles dominate, Aaron Khan scored first, returning an interception 20 yards for the score. Ian Whitehead then recovered a fumble to set up Whitfield's second of the day from 40 yards out.

Khan then recovered a fumble, and O'Brien scampered in again from 12 yards out. Quickly followed by Ayo Fadahunsi recovering another fumble which led to Han Whitmore grabbing an Ourabah catch from 15 yards out.

Whitehead the found another turnover, recovering a fumble, and again setting up O'Brien to score from the one yard line. Finally defensive lineman Ellis Derham snagged a great interception, and O'Brien scored his fourth of the day from 4 yards out to give the final score.

After the game Head Coach Aaron Alexis said "I'm really proud of the boys today, we've showed promise all season, and today it finally came together for us, and we showed what we can do. Defensively Ian Whitehead and Aaron Khan were fantastic, but I was also really pleased with rookie Jack Clark who disrupted the Renegades quarterback all day. Offensively we clicked, and the blocking was great which allowed Sean O'Brien to have a big day, but it was a real team performance, and it feels great to get that first win."
