Successful Scrimmage against The Eagles!

On Sunday the Kent Exiles Adult Squad hit the field against an opponent for the first time this year. An organised pre-season scrimmage took place at Bedford International Athletic Stadium against the Ouse Valley Eagles, giving coaches and players the chance to test out any new changes to their playbooks ready for the upcoming season.

The session ended with promising results for the Exiles with the defensive line showing their strength and the whole team working together as a tight unit. The offence also began to show signs of what's to come this season with impressive Touchdowns from Running Back, Dan "Tron" Exell and Wide Receiver, James Seale.

Now that the 2016 fixtures have been confirmed, it means the Exiles have less than six weeks to finish preparing for their first game against Colchester Gladiators at Home on Sunday 10th April.

Although there is still lots of work to do both on and off the field, we saw more evidence justifying our newly approved Division 1 status and proof that the cold winter training sessions are starting to pay off. Watch out Division 1, the Exiles are coming...

As always, we are happy to hear from any coaches or players interested in joining the team, and can be contacted via the club website or by e-mailing
