The Kent Exiles Academy is our player development pathway for young athletes who want to learn, develop and compete in American Football.
The Academy is about more than preparing players for game day. We develop the skills, knowledge, confidence and character players need to progress through the sport — whether their ambition is to compete at the highest level, represent the Exiles, move into senior football or become the best player they can be.

The Academy provides a clear pathway from youth football into our U16 and U19 programmes, with opportunities for players to develop their individual skills, football understanding, physical capabilities and leadership.

Our U16 programme is where young players build the foundations for their American Football journey.
Players develop fundamental football skills, positional understanding, teamwork and confidence in a positive and challenging environment. We focus on developing players rather than simply winning games, so everyone can learn, improve, and enjoy the sport.
The U16 programme is also an important step towards U19 football, helping players develop the skills and habits they need for the next stage of their journey.

Our U19 programme is designed for players ready to take the next step in their football development.
Players develop their technical and tactical skills while learning to compete in a more demanding environment. Training focuses on position-specific development, football understanding, decision-making and preparing players for the transition into adult football.
Whether you are an experienced player or new to American Football, the U19 programme provides the coaching, challenge and support to help you progress.
