Exiles awarded “School Games Friendly” status!

The Kent Exiles are proud to announce that they are one of the pioneering BAFA clubs awarded status as a “School Games Friendly” Club.


The Exiles worked with BAFA School Game Organiser Rob Rooksby to achieve this, and being awarded the logo signposts that students, teachers, schools, School Games Organisers, YST Development Officers and other partners can easily find help and advice with School Games activities and competitions from the Exiles.

On being told of achieving School Games Friendly status club Chairman David Pester said “’We’re really proud of our ever growing flag, youth and junior teams, and our ethos means we know and support the Youth Sports Trust’s ideals and the School Games”.

As one of the first American Football clubs in the UK to achieve this the Exiles were featured as a case study in the official BAFA press release announcing the National Governing Bodies association with the School Games, you can read the article here – School Games Friendly News Article
