The Exiles continue to grow their coaching ranks
The Kent Exiles are excited to announce the appointment of former player Adrian Lees as an Assistant OL coach. Starting his career with the East Kent Mavericks in 2007, Coach Adrian spent four years playing both defensive end and offensive line, gaining knowledge on both sides of the ball. In 2011, Coach Adrian joined the Kent Exiles organisation, beginning his career on the defensive line before making the permanent switch to offensive line, where he has played his prior two seasons.
Coach Adrian was excited to get involved in American Football, particularly with the Exiles organisation, after returning to Kent last year, visiting a training session and seeing the incredible progress that has been made,
Following his appointment, Head Coach John Moore:
“We are delighted Adrian has joined our coaching staff. He has a vast amount of experience in the trenches and he is keen to start his coaching career. He is surrounded by experienced coaches who will help him develop. Adrian was a tenacious lineman and he is a student of the game. I’m confident he will develop into a very good Coach.”
With a varied history in the sport, Coach Adrian brings a wealth of live game knowledge and looks forward to learning alongside the fantastic cohort of coaches already in place in the Adult Contact team. We are excited to see Assistant Coach Adrian and the full adult coaching team Change the Narrative of the Premiership next season.
