Juniors V Blitz Game Report
On May 15th the Exiles junior team travelled to Finsbury Park to face football powerhouse, the London Blitz. The teams would battle it out, both with a strong focus on ending the day top of the division.
Exiles juniors fell short as they suffered their first loss of the season, 36-0, at the hands of a dominantly physical Blitz side.
In a struggling Exiles offence Josh Quartey provided a powerful running attack rushing for multiple first downs. Quarterback George Reynolds connected with Tom Slade, Callum O’Neill and Jack Proud for first down catches but the Exiles were unable to put points on the board.
On the Exiles defence, Tyrese Peters-Tovey, Michael Krawczak and Sean Lewis had standout performances providing big hits across the field. Despite this outstanding defensive effort, the physicality provided by the Blitz saw them find the end zone on multiple occasions
