The Kent Exiles are pleased to announce their first player signing for their 2020 Premiership Season, as Cameron Craig joins the team following his successful year with the AAL (American Arena League) Carolina Havoc.
The six-foot, four-inch 300 pound Offensive Lineman will be a key addition to the team, especially following his recent exploits in America which saw the Havoc crowned as the Atlantic Division Champions.
Craig confirmed his signing with Exiles Head Coach John Moore at a meeting this week, and said “It’s a great pleasure to be joining The Exiles organisation. The team’s improvement over recent years has been exciting to watch. Now with a hunger and passion to be a true contender in the Premiership in 2020, I can’t wait to contribute what I can in helping them achieve that in addition to aiding my own development.”
Head Coach Moore was also excited at the signing, commenting “Cameron is a great example of what young people can achieve through hard work and commitment. I am excited to see him work with our returning players and help them attain the next level.”
The Exiles are already hard at work preparing for their 2020 season, and developing on their successful first season in the BAFA Premiership. They are continuing to add to their playing squad, and coaching staff, and would welcome enquiries from any parties interested in joining a progressive team.
