The Exiles Women’s American Football team are proud to welcome on board the following new coaches who will help us prepare for the 2019/2020 Sapphire season:
Harry Kent; Harry’s expertise will be predominantly used on the offence with the RB’s and WR’s. Harry has been on the Exiles senior team since 2017 and coupled with his Sports and PE teaching background will I’m sure be an asset to the coaching staff.
Joe Alexis; Joe’s expertise on defence will be used to work with our LB’s & DB’s. Joe has been a Linebacker for the Exiles for over 16 years playing at every level from youth to senior and he is currently the holder of the Exiles single season tackle record. He brings to us a huge amount of playing experience as well as coaching experience from his role as the LB’s coach of the Exiles successful under 19’s team
Nai Moore; Nai will be a Defensive assistant coach working alongside Coaches Joe & Davo. Nai has been involved with football for many years and brings all that experience to our coaching team. After joining our women’s team over two years she quickly became a stalwart of our defensive backfield and is now keen to take her first steps into coaching.
Coach Dave Pester one of the founding members of the Exiles will also be returning to his position of OL coach. Coach Pester has played every position on the line and has already helped us preseason and hopes to reprise his role as soon as possible.
These new coaches in addition to myself as Head Coach, Coach Davo Defensive coordinator and Offensive coordinator Coach Rob bring an added boost of experience and skill to our team. It is our intention with our new coaching team to improve and develop our players with the view of helping them to realise their potential and our assault on next season Sapphire league.
